CPR and basic airway management for healthcare providers. Required by virtually every facility in the country for all clinical roles — the one certification every traveler needs.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Renew: Every 2 years
Advanced emergency cardiac care including pharmacology, rhythm recognition, airway management, and team dynamics. Frequently required for acute care, ICU, cath lab, and respiratory travel assignments.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Renew: Every 2 years
Emergency assessment and management for pediatric patients. Commonly required for pediatric, NICU, and emergency travel assignments.

6 certsOrthopaedic Clinical Specialist
Renew: Every 10 years
Board-certified specialization in orthopaedic physical therapy — the most recognized PT specialty. A differentiator (not a requirement) that can mean faster placement and higher rates on outpatient ortho and sports travel assignments.
Certified Hand Therapist
Renew: Every 5 years
Advanced certification for OTs and PTs specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. Opens access to niche, higher-paying hand therapy travel contracts.
Wound Care Certified
Renew: Every 5 years
Certification in wound assessment, treatment, and prevention. A practical cross-discipline add-on for SNF, home health, and acute care travel roles.
LSVT BIG & LOUD Certification
Renew: Recertify every 2 years
Certification in the LSVT protocols for Parkinson's and neurological conditions — BIG for movement (PT/OT) and LOUD for voice (SLP). A cross-discipline add-on often requested for neuro caseloads.
Computed Tomography (ARRT)
Renew: Annual renewal; 24 CE every 2 years
A post-primary ARRT credential that qualifies a registered radiologic technologist to work in CT — one of the most in-demand imaging modalities for travel. Added on top of your primary registration, not in place of it.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT)
Renew: Annual renewal; 24 CE every 2 years
