If you are placed on an assignment through Luvo, we also collect the information needed to manage that placement, such as contract and timesheet records. We also collect information automatically when you use the site, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the site, including job search, applications, and connecting you with opportunities
  • To match clinicians with healthcare facility positions based on the information and preferences you provide
  • To contact you about positions, your applications, and our services, so a recruiter can follow up with you
  • To manage placements, contracts, and timesheets for clinicians on active assignments
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications about job opportunities and services, subject to your right to opt out (see Section 3)
  • To improve the platform through usage analytics and AI model training on anonymized interaction data
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service

3. Marketing and SMS Communications

When you provide your contact information — for example, by applying to a position, requesting information, or signing up — you authorize us to contact you by phone, email, and text message regarding job opportunities, your applications, and services that may interest you. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary.

You will only receive our newsletter if you expressly opt in to it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We will never send you unsolicited spam.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time — by following the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any text message, or contacting us at the email address below. Opting out of marketing messages will not affect service-related messages necessary to provide the platform (such as application, contract, or timesheet updates).

  • With healthcare facilities — When you apply for a position, the facility receives your application and the relevant information you submitted
  • With Luvo staff — Our recruiters and administrators access your application information and preferences (and, for active assignments, contract and timesheet records) as part of the placement and management process
  • Service providers — We use third-party services for hosting, database, authentication, mapping, and AI processing. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual protections
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential cookies — Required for core site functionality, security, and (for authorized accounts) session management
  • Preference cookies — Store your display preferences such as theme (light/dark mode) and saved job selections
  • Session cookies — Used to maintain your chat conversation during your visit
